BIBLICAL JOURNEY TO THE HOLY LAND

29 FEBRUARY TO 10 MARCH 2016

Dear Pilgrims to the Holy Land,

It is my joy and delight to be conveying my warmest Easter greetings and brotherly affection to you this Eastertide. I am praying after your recent experience of Lenten observance in the Holy Land, that you found a renewed sense of illumination in the Easter celebrations taking place at your respective parishes.

I trust our brief journey together in the Holy Land has affected you in a deep way and that you are still internalising the fruits of the journey we made there together. I urge you to continue reflecting on these experiences and not let go of them too readily.

Of course, your pilgrimage circuit is not complete as yet. I warmly invite you to join me on similar trips to Rome and to Greece & Turkey to complete this interconnected journey. But please do not do it this year, as I would like for you to allow time and space for the fruits of your recent journey to take root in your lives in a deeper way before you embark on your next journey. So maybe after this year, then consider joining me on another trip.

Meanwhile, as promised, here are the photographs and video footages we have promised you. Do pardon us for the delay in delivering these to you as our internet connection down south in the past two weeks has been very faulty.

Remember to keep in touch with the Splendour Team. We are not just pilgrims to the Holy Land, but also pilgrims together on a journey towards God. You are constantly in our prayers, and we would love to keep on praying for you. So do keep us updated on the ongoings in your lives.

We ask you to also pray for us that we will be faithful to this vocation that God has given to each member of our team. Things can get pretty challenging for us at times, but we have never given up because we know what exactly God has called us to do.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all!
