Parents need to be aware of their role as the primary religious educators in the lives of their children. This responsibility is not to be assigned to the Sunday School teachers. Deacon Sherman Kuek proposes the following three ways on how parents can be primary witnesses of the faith to their children:
1) Teaching children to dialogue with their parents;
2) Teaching children to dialogue with God; and
3) Teaching children to dialogue with the world.
